Our Story

Oakholm was purchased back in 2018 by Chris “Babe” Predella from the Jeppson Family with the intention of building a secluded wedding destination and family farm. Shortly after an idea to convert an old barn on the property into a taproom was made a reality with Oakholm Brewing Company opening its doors during the height of COVID. Spencer Austin worked to help open the brewery and during his time bartending, met an overwhelming amount of people who were talking about how the property would make such a great disc golf course. In 2020 after talking with Babe, he was given the green light to design a course nestled in the woods just up from the hayfields and Christmas trees.

After 8 months of designing the preliminary layout, Spencer broke ground and started construction. Two years after the green light was given, the first half of the course was completed on May 21st of 2022. Just over a year later on June 18th 2023, the full 18 hole course was opened to the public along with a shortened alternate layout.

With the loving help of his girlfriend Elizabeth Croteau and their dog Peanut, they continue to develop and maintain the course for all to enjoy.

The disc golf course is just one more addition to the Oakholm Farm Estate’s land whose mission is to be a place of love, respect, fun, celebration, peace, & relaxation, nourishment for the soul, and a place where families come together. A place where people enter as strangers, and leave as friends.
